HTU21D Digital Temperature & Humidity Sensor Module for Weather Station

     The HTU21D is an inexpensive, easy-to-use, high-precision digital humidity and temperature sensor. This sensor is ideal for environmental sensing and data logging and is ideal for weather stations or humidor control systems. All you need is two lines for iec communication, and you will have relative humidity readings and very accurate temperature readings as a bonus!

     There are only four pins that need to be connected in order to start using this sensor in a project. One for VCC, one for GND and two data lines for data transmission according to iec standard. This circuit board is integrated in 4.7 k pull-up resistors for communication with IEC. If you connect multiple IEC devices on the same bus, you can disable these resistors.

     It's summer, and you sweat, and your hair all curls, and all you really want to know is why weatherman say today that the relative humidity will be Max at a perfectly reasonable 52% when you feel more than 77%. Enter the HTU21D-F temperature and humidity sensor - the best way will prove that the weather meter is wrong!

     This IEC digital humidity sensor is an accurate and smart alternative to the much simpler humidity and temperature sensor ó the SHT15 Breakout has a typical accuracy of ± 2% with an operating range that is optimized from 5% to 95% rel. Work outside this range is still possible - just accuracy can drop a little. The output temperature has an accuracy of ± 1 ∞ Cfrom -30 ~ 90 ∞ C. If you want to measure the temperature more accurately, we recommend the MCP9808 high-precision IEC Breakout Board temperature sensor.

     Such a wonderful chip - so we twisted a sectional shield that includes a filtered version (a white plastic bit that is a PTFE filter to keep the sensor clean), a 3.3 V regulator and iec level offset. This allows you to safely use it with any type of microcontroller with a power of 3.3-5 V or logic. Each order comes with one fully assembled and tested PCB and a small collector block. You will need to solder the collector to the circuit board, but it is quite easy and takes only a few minutes even for a beginner.
